     Mae (Strasser) Daly was born May 15, 1928 to Rachel (Bernier) and Louis Strasser. She was Music Consultant for the Carleton Catholic School Board and Ottawa’s representative for the RCMT. Mae died suddenly and unexpectedly at her home in Toronto on June 7, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, five siblings, husband Bernard and youngest son Tim. She is survived by her children Tom, Pat, Mary Anne, Michael and Teresa (Teri) and by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
     At age 86, Mae published her life work, The Divine ‘Ah-Ha’, the life and work of Zoltan Kodaly, the famous Hungarian Ethnomusicologist who worked with Bela Bartok.
